Mercedes-Benz 2001 A190 Auto Sedan

The Club was recently contacted by a member of the public wishing to urgently dispose of an A190 Auto Sedan.  The car has now been moved to storage at Archerfield and the club is offering all members the opportunity to "win" it via a simple raffle process. 

Details of the car as as follows: 

• Black, with approx 130-140,000kms
• Body and trim appear to be in good condition 
• Car is currently unregistered (apparentely since 2011) 
• There are no service records 
• As the battery is flat, therefore it has not been started or any mechanical evaluation done. 
• A walk-around appraisal suggests it needs 4 new tyres, a new battery, plus a good clean/detailing plus a battery.  
• The vehicle is stored on a trailer at Archerfield ready to be picked up or for delivery.

IMPORTANT NOTE: 

• The Club makes no claim or comment about the condition or ownership of the vehicle or any encumbrances.  All responsibility for thesse issues will lie with the member who 'wins' the car in the raffle. The name of the person who donated the car to the Club iwill be given to the winner.
• It is a condition of the raffle that the winner pays the Club $250 to cover the costs of picking up, storing and delivery (within Brisbane). Please do not enter the raffle if you are not prepared to reimburse the club for these costs it has incurred. 

How to enter : Entries will be accepted from Monday the 20th of February 2023 and closes at midnight on Saturday the 25th 2023.

Only one entry per MBCQ member. Secondary members cannot enter.

The winning entry will be drawn on Wednesday the 1st of March 2023 at the Annual General Meeting. Entrants do not have to be present at the draw.

There will be 3 names drawn, at the AGM, and only the first winner will be contacted and must take delivery and pay the $250.00 within 7 days.

If this doesn't happen, the second winner will be contacted and must take delivery and pay the $250.00 within 7 days.

If not collected and the $250.00 paid the third name drawn will be contacted.
