Impromptu Runs

A NEW automated process that does away with any time lags…submit a run online and be on your way 10 minutes later! (with authorisation in hand)

The government has been very generous in offering Impromptu Runs as an addition to the SIV program.

It is not permissible to add Impromptu Events for driving to work or to go shopping.
Prior to departure the individual member will be solely responsible for the Impromptu Event to be properly listed with the Club, thereby receiving documentary evidence required by Police or Transport Department officials.
The Members to check with their insurer in relation to extra usage for Impromptu Events.

In order to submit an Impromptu Run

You must be a member of the Mercedes-Benz Club of Queensland.
The ‘Submit an Impromptu Run’ menu link will only appear on the navbar, under Events, once a member has logged in.
Once you have completed the form and submitted the Impromptu Run, a confirmation email will be sent to your mailbox. This email MUST be printed and on your person for the duration of the drive.
