Meet and Greet:
Meet and Greet at Earle Plaza Shopping Center, White Street, Nerang at 9:30 am for 10:15 am departure.
The Drives:
Day 1 - Morning - Nerang to Nimbin for Lunch
Turn left at lights into Price street. Turn left at lights into Birribi Ave. Drive past school on the left then continue to large intersection lights. Turn right into Gilston Road.
Drive to roundabout taking 2nd exit staying on Gilston road. Then drive though four more roundabouts before turning right onto Latimers Crossing Road. Drive to T intersection then turn left Murwillumbah Nerang Road. Drive through the valley past Chillingham, Crystal Creek to T intersection. Then turn right driving past Showgrounds to Murwillumbah At T intersection turn left into Murwillumbah Street then first right into Brisbane St. At roundabout take 3rd exit into Wollumbin Street. Turn left at Riverview Street then staying on (32) the road merges into Kyogle Road.
Stay on route 32 following sign to Nimbin for lunch.1hour.
Day 1 - Afternoon - Nimbin to Grafton for Overnight Stay
Leaving Nimbin and staying on route 32 we drive south to Lismore. As we enter Lismore we turn right at roundabout onto Bridge St. cross river then turn right Molesworth Street then take 3rd exit at roundabout B60. Cross river then take 1st exit at roundabout staying on B60 sign to Casino.
When entering Casino turn left onto Summerland Way B91.
Stay on Summerland Way (B91) to Grafton.
Drive to Fitzroy St as we are staying at the Fitzroy Motor Inn.
Meet at 5.15pm for drinks then at 6pm take courtesy bus to Grafton District Services Club for dinner.
Day 2 - Morning - Grafton to Nambucca Heads - V Wall
Leave motel turn right onto Craig St. cross Grafton Bridge merge into Brent St. Take 2nd exit at roundabout next roundabout take 2nd exit then left into Ryan St. then second right into Armidale Rd. Turn left into Orara Way.
Drive through Glenreagh then Nana Glen.
Continue east on Orara Way which merges into Gale Street which then merges into Caramba Road.Drive to roundabout taking 2nd exit staying on Caramba Road. Cross M1 (follow signs to Coffs Harbour. Take 2nd exit at roundabout staying on Caramba road.
Next roundabout take 3rd exit into Kings Street. Veer left at curve in road, staying in Kings Street. At T intersection turn right into Azalea Avenue. Drive to roundabout taking 1st exit into Combine St. Drive to traffic lights turning right onto Pacific Hwy (A1) south.
Exit motorway (A1)at Nambucca Heads exit drive to roundabout and take 1st exit. Turn left into Link Rd. Turn right at T intersection Old Coach Road. At roundabout take 2nd exit onto Mann St. Drive through Main Street. Continue over brow of hill. Turn first left into Wellington Dr. Follow road to the V Wall. Park car to stroll the V Wall followed by lunch at tavern or at Wharf Street Cafe or you can drive back to the Main Street and have a bite at a cafe. (One hour Thirty Minutes have been allowed for wall walk and lunch.)
Day 2 - Afternoon - Nambucca Heads to South West Rocks
Regroup down by the river in the RSL car park. We then drive to T intersection then turn left into Giingay Way. We follow the river to Macksville.
Cross river staying on main road through Macksville. Take first exit at roundabout, next roundabout cross motorway take 2nd exit and enter motorway south. (A1Pacific Hwy)
Exit motorway at Macleay Valley Way (well signposted.) take 2nd exit at roundabout
At Clybucca turn left into Plummersln Lane. Follow river then cross river then turn Left at T intersection Into SW Rocks Rd. Cross river into Gregory St.Turn right into Simpson St. Then left into Mitchell St, then right into Mclntyre St. Rockpool Motor Inn on right.
Day 3 - Morning - Trial Bay Gaol Visit
9.15 am. Leave motel turn right into Mclntyre St. At roundabout take 2nd exit into Phillip Dr. Turn left into Cardwell Street. ( follow Sign ) Cardwell St. flows into Trial Bay Goal access Rd. Park and regroup at entrance.
Free afternoon to explore district. Visit the Slim Dusty Museum in Kempsey. Travel to Port Macquarie.
5.00pm. Meet at motel for sundowners.
Day 4 - Morning - South West Rocks to Bellingen for Morning Tea
Leave motel at 8:00 am, turn left into Mclntyre St. Drive to T intersection, turn left into Gregory Street.
Cross Spencer’s Creek into S.W. Rocks Road then turn right into Plummers Ln. Cross river to T intersection, turn right into Macleay Valley Way to roundabout. Take 2nd exit. Cross motorway then take 3rd exit at roundabout, then join motorway heading north.
Depart motorway turning left at shortcut Rd (Signposted) Bellingen Waterfall Way ( route B75)
Drive to Bellingen. Stop 45 minutes For morning tea.( Toilets in park at bottom of Main Street)
Day 4 - Morning - Bellingen to Ulmarra for Lunch (via Dorrigo Rain Forest Centre
Leave Bellingen continuing west on Waterfall way driving up mountain to Dorrigo.
At top of the mountain turn right into Dome Road driving to Dorrigo Rainforest Centre. (15 minute)
Leaving town driving west into Karabin Street then turn right into Tyringham Road. Drive to T intersection then turn right onto Armidale Road. Drive to South Grafton.
Turn left into Ryan Street. Drive to roundabout taking 3rd exit. Next Roundabout take 1st exit. Next roundabout take 3rd exit onto Big River Way. Drive until you arrive at Ulmarra. Turn left into Coldstream Rd. At end of street is the Ulmarra Hotel. Lunch.
Day 4 - Afternoon - Ulmarra to Maclean for Overnight Stay
Drive back to Big River Way. Drive to roundabout taking 1st exit at Goodwood St that merges into Cameron Street then merges into River Street. Drive to roundabout taking 2nd exit into Stanley Street then Turn left into Alexander Street. Club Maclean Motel on the left.
5.30 pm. Meet at Club for pre dinner drinks. Dinner at club.
Day 5 - Morning - Time to Head Home
Drive back to River Street. Turn right and drive alongside river to motorway M1 follow signs then dispense for home.
