Visit to Tery Hurst's Car Collection
at Angelhurst
then Lunch at the Bearded Dragon

Meet and Greet
Meet at Earle Plaza Shopping Center, White Street, Nerang at 9:30 am for 10:00 am departure for a leisurely drive via Canungra to Club Member, Tery Hurst's property, Angelhurst at the back of Tamborine. Angelhurst is an English styled manor Property set on 15 acres and have been developed by Tery to include a large number of garages housing his antique to modern car and automobilia collection. The collection includes a number of Mercedes-Benz as well as some rather special Bentleys.
Tery has kindly offered to open a number of the garages and personally explain the history of the collection.
Driving Instructions
Turn LEFT out of Earle Plaza carpark
Turn LEFT onto Price Street
Follow signs to Canungra - after 3.3km turn RIGHT onto Beaudesert Nerang Road
Stay on Route 90 for 23kms
Drive through Canungra
Stay on Route 90 for a further 15kms (10 mins or so) then at the T-intersection turn RIGHT onto route 92 (Beaudesert Beenleigh Road)
Drive 3.3km along Beaudesert Beenleigh Road
At Roundabout turn LEFT onto Waterford Tamborine Road (Route 95)
Drive 3.8km before turning LEFT onto Greensward Road
Drive a further 3km before turning onto Killigrew Road
Then drive 1km before turning LEFT onto Pendennis Road
Drive for 250m and on the right-hand side, just before the road turns to the left, there is a gate opening for us to drive into No. 2 Pendennis Road.
Follow the signs to park on the private property
Lunch
Around 12:30, we will then move on to the Bearded Dragon Hotel at Tamborine for Lunch, which Members and Guests will order from the Bearded Dragon Menu
Instructions to get to Bearded Dragon Hotel
Drive out of property back onto Pendennis Road then onto Killigrew Road
Turn RIGHT onto Greensward Road
Drive 3km to T-intersection
Turn RIGHT onto Waterford Tamborine Road (95)
Drive 3.8km to go straight across the roundabout
50m on the left is the Bearded Dragon Hotel!!
Registration
Registration is essential as only Members and their Guests who have registered will be able to visit the Angelhurst property.
