Meet and Greet
Winders Park, Duringan Street, Currumbin at 10:15 am for 10:45 am Departure
The Route
Leaving park turn right into Duringan St which merges into Currumbin Creek Rd. Stay on Currumbin Creek Rd for 11km. 100 m past the Currumbin Valley Waste Recycling Centre, which will be on the right, turn sharp left into Bains Rd and cross the narrow bridge. Drive to the T intersection and then turn right into Tomewin Mountain Road. Drive over mountain into the Tweed Valley.
Continue on Tomewin Mountain Road until it crosses the Rous River and then take the first left into Cane Rd. Stay on Cane Rd until the road crosses the Tweed river. Drive to T intersection with Condong Sugar Mill on left and then turn Left into Tweed Valley Way then move to the right turn lane before turning Right into Clothiers Creek Rd. (Signpost Cabarita)
Drive to roundabout taking 2nd exit before crossing M1 motorway. At the next roundabout take 2nd exit staying on Clothiers Creek Rd.
Drive to roundabout and take 2nd exit onto Rosewood Ave. At the next roundabout take 1st exit into Tweed Coast Road, then, at lights turn Right into Grand Parade. At the roundabout take 1st exit into Casuarina Way.
At the next three roundabouts, take the 2nd exit, and at the fourth roundabout take 1st exit.
At next roundabout take 2nd exit into Bells Boulevarde and then at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit into the Salt Complex. Drive to far end of lane for parking outside Salt Bar.
