Members have our Toowoomba member, Tomas Guerin, to thank for sourcing this little gem.

A boutique sheep farm and cheesery nestled in the tranquil Grantham hills of the beautiful Lockyer Valley. Di and David Piggott are passionate Aussie farmers who work hard to produce the finest quality products on their beautiful farm. Here, surrounded by avocado groves and the gentle pottering of the Awassi, second generation cheese maker Di designs and crafts a range of bespoke cheeses and takes you on a cheese journey like no other. Family owned and operated, this purpose built dairy, boutique cheesery and farm outlet, operates as part of the overall Awassi farmstead. We are committed to preserving the heritage of this rare sheep milking breed. What does farmstead mean? Milked on farm, Cheese made on farm –now that’s the real deal! Members enjoy the beautiful ambiance of this property whilst learning what is involved in creating the most exquisite cheeses, from the paddock - to the milking parlour - to the cheesery - to your plate.
