Monthly Run: Sunday, A Day in the Bush, Nudgee Beach to Mt Mee

With the virus still with us and is likely to be with us for some time we felt a scenic drive followed by a picnic could be the order of the day so we have chosen a location that we doubt not many members would have visited – The Gantry, D’Aguilar National Park, 391-481 Sellin Rd, Mount Mee QLD 4521

9:45am: we will assemble at Nudgee Beach Reserve (fronting Moreton Bay) for morning tea before heading to The Gantry, D’Aguilar National Park to enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush.

10:45am depart Nudgee Beach Reserve for The Gantry, D’Aguilar National Park 

Driving Instructions: Join the Gateway Motorway (M1) heading north passing by Deagon and Brackenridge merging with the Bruce Highway (M1) for Caboolture. We will take the Kilcoy exit at Caboolture heading for D’Aguilar.  At D’Aguilar turn left into Mt Mee Road passing through Delaneys Creek. Approximately 16.5km from D’Aguilar turn right in to Sellin Rd Travel approx. 5km to The Gantry, D’Aguilar National Park.

Approx. travelling time: 1 hr 15mins.
