Monthly Run Sunrise at Scarborough

In a break(fast!!) from tradition, we thought a breakfast might be the order of the day and what better place than overlooking Moreton Bay on an autumn Saturday morning. 

It may mean an early start for some but it should be an enjoyable morning with a beautiful breakfast, wonderful company and served by a very friendly staff.

7:45am: meet at Sea Salt and Vine, Reef Point Esplanade, Scarborough QLD 4020 [UBD Map 81 R8] for

8:00am breakfast. The restaurant is located between the Moreton Bay Boat Club and Newport Cruising

Yacht Club and next to the Scarborough Holiday Village Caravan Park – don’t get lost!!

Cost: $25/adult which includes, jugs of water and orange juice on arrival, coffee/tea for each guest, and choice of one meal off the limited menu (listed below) Members will place their orders on the day.

and $12.50/child which includes, kids Pop Top, kids bacon and eggs or kids pancakes.

BACON, EGGS & TOMATO (gf**) – rashers of bacon, poached eggs and roasted tomato served on

Sourdough

EGGS BENEDICT (gf on modification) – poached eggs and baby spinach on toasted sourdough topped with creamy hollandaise sauce - served with your choice:                                       

     Crispy bacon     

     Sautéed mushrooms (v)       

     Slices of smoked salmon    

     Leg ham off the bone 

PANCAKES – served with ice cream, maple syrup and berry compote 

CORN FRITTERS (v,gf) – zucchini corn fritters lightly infused w garam marsala & curry powder stacked w

sautéed spinach and mango chutney, corn salsa & haloumi
