Technical Day – Mount Samson

The club is very fortunate to have Dr Chris Whight as a member. Thanks his generosity, Dr Chris Whight is once again making his property at Mt Samson available to those members who wish to seek advice of a technical nature. In 2017, the day proved to be an outstanding success with several members discovering that they had mechanical faults that they knew nothing about and two members departed the day the new owners of a couple of classics from Dr Chris Whight’s stable of Mercedes-Benz.

The club is also fortunate to have a number of members who have a wealth of knowledge and are willing to share that information with other members as some members would bear witness.

A hoist will be available for use by members.

Families will not be forgotten on such a day, bring a picnic and enjoy the day. Members are welcome to stroll around the property while the men are “playing cars”, with an amazing bamboo forest as well as spectacular views across the Samford Valley, and even may find some very friendly horses to feed (love carrots and apples!!)

Once again, another activity for the benefit of members.
