Palmer Motorama Brisbane Concours Display (12 Aug 2026)

200 prestige vehicles from Clive Palmer's internationally renowned Palmer Motorama collection will go on display at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on Wednesday 12 August until Sunday 16 August.

The Brisbane Concours Display will showcase one of the world's largest private and most exclusive automotive collections, featuring rare and historic cars drawn from Mr Palmer's collection of more than 1,000 vehicles.

The exhibition will include some of the most celebrated names in automotive history, including Bugatti, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, Bentley, Jaguar and Porsche, alongside historically significant vehicles from marques such as Citroen, Horch, Austin and Stanley.

Entry is $60.00 with children under 14 free when accompanied by a paying adult. Follow the link below to purchase tickets.

Veresdale Scrub State School Car Show and Polo (23 Aug 2026)

Veresdale Scrub State Schook is a small country school located near Beaudesert, with an enrolment of approximately 78 students. The School has an enthusiastic Parents and Citizens (P&C) association that works diligently to raise funds to help the children achieve their maximum potential in an educationally enriched environment.

On 23 August, they will be holding a Car Show from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, followed by Polo from 9 am to 4 pm.

Members are invited to display their cars in the Show and then stay for the Polo.

Bring picnic blankets and chairs to enjoy a day of fun with raffles, food and drinks available throughout the day.

Please register so that we can provide the organizers with information on the numbers attending.

Then return to South Murwillumbah for lunch at the Riverview Hotel.

For the 50th Annual Concours d'Elegance, the entry fees for Display Vehicles have been waived.

President's Award - The Alan Letzer Memorial Trophy

The President's Award is a perpetual trophy for the most deserving car in the Display category

This magnificent trophy, the Alan Letzer Memorial Award, was presented to the Club by past, long-time President, the Late Chris Reid in memory of her late husband, Alan Letzer, in the early years of her Presidency. Chris stipulated that the trophy be awarded, at the discretion of the incumbent President, to the most deserving car in the Display category of the Club's Celebration/Concours.

The main purpose of the Concours d’Elegance is to recognise and reward owners who have done an outstanding job of care and maintenance of their Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Judges will inspect all cars entered to determine those worthy of an award.

PERPETUAL TROPHIES

Perpetual Trophies have been donated by various Club members and sponsors over the years. They are held by the recipient to whom they are awarded for 12 months and then returned to be awarded to the following year's winners. The winner's name will be engraved on the Trophy.

The Brisbane edition of "The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive" has proven itself as the largest event and highest fundraiser among 200 cities worldwide. In just four years since its inception, it has raised over $700,000 directly supporting organizations and initiatives focused on improving men's health.

Distinguished Gentleman's Drives are being organized in 66 countries and in Australia Drives are being organized in 20 locations. The Brisbane Drive is being hosted by Club Member, Kip McIntyre

Meet and Greet at 10:00 am at the Banjo's Bakery Cafe, 104 Helensvale Rd, Helensvale

The Drive

Depart from Banjo's Bakery Cafe at 11:00 am, turning left onto Helensvale Road. At the roundabout, take the second exit to remain on Helensvale Road. Take the Coomera Connector from Helensvale Road to Shipper Drive, turning left to follow Shipper Drive. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Finnegan Way. At the fourth roundabout, take the second exit onto Kerkin Road South. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto Kerkin Road North. Follow Kerkin Road North to the Tee Intersection with Pimpama Jacobs Well Road. After 2.7 km, turn right onto Huth Road which becomes Harbour Road. At the third roundabout, take the first exit onto Harrigans Lane.

The Montauk Tavern is at the end of Harrigans Lane.

The Drive

Depart from the Distillery at 11:00 am, turning left onto Distillery Road and then left onto Main Street. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Henry Hester Drive. At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto Stapylton Jacobs Well Road. Follow Stapylton Jacobs Well Road for approximately 8 km, then turn right into Norwell road. Follow Norwell Road for approximately 7 km at which point it becomes Pimpama Jacobs Well Road. After a further approximately 4.5 km, turn right onto Huth Road which becomes Harbour Road. At the third roundabout, take the first exit onto Harrigans Lane.

The Montauk Tavern is at the end of Harrigans Lane.
