James Hutchinson of Cook's Electroplating.

Cook's Electroplating is a family owned Metal Restoration and Electroplating business that has been in business since 1890. It will be well known to a number of Club Members who have availed themselves of its services. Services that it also provides to Sleeping Beauties.

We will start with drinks and nibbles on the deck at 11:30 am, followed by a two-course Christmas Roast at 12:30 pm.

The Nobby Surf Club is providing special set menu for us of Roasted Stuffed Turkey and Vegetables, followed by Pavlova for $40.00 per person to be paid on the day to the venue.

If anyone has special dietary requirements for which the set menu is not suitable, they will be able to order from the Club Menu.

When registering, please indicate the number for the Set Menu and number who will order from the Club Menu.

There is some parking that may be available in the Club parking area, but consider the $0.50 cent option of using the new Gold Coast Link Light Rail that now stops at Nobby Beach Shopping Area, from where it is a short walk to the Club.

Registration is essential and must be made by 29 November so that the Club can be provided with the number attending.

The Brisbane edition of "The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive" has proven itself as the largest event and highest fundraiser among 200 cities worldwide. In just four years since its inception, it has raised over $700,000 directly supporting organizations and initiatives focused on improving men's health.

Distinguished Gentleman's Drives are being organized in 66 countries and in Australia Drives are being organized in 20 locations. The Brisbane Drive is being hosted by Club Member, Kip McIntyre.

You can join that Team regardless of whether you are going to participate in the Brisbane, Caboolture, Gold Coast, or Noosa drives that are the four Queensland drives that have so far been organized.

Having registered for the Drive, click on your name at the top right of the DGD website and then on My Dashboard and check on the Join a Team item under the Getting Started Checklist on the right hand side of the page and join the Mercedes-Benz Club Queensland Team.
